Synopsis

While Peter Parker tries to continue a show biz career as Spider-Man, J. Jonah Jameson's editorials labeling him a menace makes it hard for him to find work. When the rocket piloted by Jameson's son John malfunctions, Spider-man convinces the military to allow him to help. Riding aboard a jet to catch up with John's capsule, Spider-Man web-zips to the capsule, where he is able to replace the defective guidance control and John is able to land safely. While Peter believes he has redeemed himself in JJJ's eyes, the following day, another editorial is run, accusing Spider-Man of sabotaging the rocket in the first place in order to perform a rescue and get more attention.
